Wool Trainee with Career Progression Opportunities
Moses & Son is an independent family owned & operated business. We are enthusiastic about sheep and wool, with a focus on growth of the industry and maximising enterprise profitability through best practise management and technology.
We have a newly created position for a Wool Trainee. The eighteen month program will provide hands-on training in Wool Handling, Wool Marketing, Administration, Rural Merchandise, Wool Buying and Livestock sales.
As a trainee, you will be provided with the tools, training and mentoring by Moses & Son’s experienced leaders. You will gain a cross section of skills and experience and have the ability to work in and support various roles within the business.
Upon completion you’ll have a broad understanding of Moses & Son and the wool industry with the opportunity to apply for permanent roles within Moses & Son.
The new role is perfect for a self-motivated individual with a passion for wool and sheep, and the drive to progress your career.
The position will be based in our West Wyalong store with regular travel to our other branches in Temora, Condobolin & Grenfell.
You will ideally possess:
- Farming and Agriculture background, skills and knowledge.
- Wool Classer or willing to complete the Certificate in Wool Classing
- Excellent listener and communicator and willing to take instructions.
- Be reliable, trustworthy and flexible
