Keen to hear and contribute to novel sheep production strategies for containment feeding, heat stress mitigation + supplements in a variable climate? This one’s for you!
Confinement Feeding Working
This event has already happened. Join our mailing list for updates on future events.

Free to MerinoLink Members

Join MerinoLink to discuss practices around confined feeding (particularly at joining and lambing) as well as the use of supplements to increase production, mitigate heat stress and methane production in confined and grazing sheep. In addition, we’ll work through why sheep producers can and can’t adopt these novel strategies.

If you have had any experience with containment feeding or are interested in finding out more information, please join us for a round-table discussion on these topics and help contribute to this important research. There will also be presentations from industry experts Dr Susan Robertson (CSU) and Jim Meckiff (JM Livestock) on best-practice confinement strategies and further project activities.
