Uses
ZOOMECSe contains Abamectin, a member of the avermectin family of drenches and also contains Selenium which acts as an aid in controlling selenium deficiencies in sheep and lambs. It is effective against sensitive strains of the following adult and immature roundworms of sheep:
ADULT AND IMMATURE GASTROINTESTINAL ROUNDWORMS:
Haemonchus contortus – Barber’s pole worm (including inhibited L4 stage)
Haemonchus placei – Large stomach worm
Ostertagia circumcincta – Small brown stomach worm (including inhibited L4 stage)
Trichostrongylus axei – Stomach hair worm
Trichostrongylus colubriformis, Trichostrongylus vitrinus – Black scour worm
Cooperia curticei, Cooperia oncophora – Small intestinal worm
Nematodirus spathiger, Nematodirus filicollis – Thin necked intestinal worm
Chabertia ovina – Large mouthed bowel worm
Oesophagostomum columbianum – Nodule worm
Oesophagostomum venulosum – Large bowel worm
Trichuris ovis – Whipworm
Strongyloides papillosis – Intestinal threadworm
OTHER PARASITES
Dictyocaulus filaria – Large lungworm

Withdrawal Period
MEAT: DO NOT USE less than 14 days before slaughter for human consumption.
MILK: DO NOT USE in female sheep which are producing or may in the future produce milk or milk products for human consumption.
EXPORT SLAUGHTER INTERVAL (ESI): DO NOT SLAUGHTER for export within 28 days of treatment.
