Livestock Farm Hand with career progression opportunities

Moses & Son is an independent family owned & operated business. We are invested in sheep and wool, with a focus on growth of the industry and maximising enterprise profitability through best practise management and technology. We are seeking a progressive person to assist with the day-to-day-operation and coordination of our Livestock farms in Temora and Quandialla.
The role is perfect for a self-motivated individual with a passion for stock work and the drive to progress to a Livestock or Wool Agent. Working with a high-performing & committed team you will gain invaluable skills in animal husbandry, genetics and research.
This innovative livestock position is designed to provide on the job learning with the potential to develop into a Bluechip Livestock Agent.
The successful candidate will be responsible for the day-to-day maintenance and upkeep of the properties. Ensure the research flock are kept in optimum health and the husbandry calendar is adhered to. Assuring the integrity and objectives of the research operations are maintained is imperative.
You will ideally:
- Have experience in the day to day operation and duties of a livestock property.
- Be an excellent communicator and willing to take instructions.
- Be reliable, trustworthy and flexible.
- Have the physical ability and independence to work alone.
- Aspirations to develop your career in Livestock.
