After the devastation caused to farming land and infrastructure by the bush fires of 2019 and early this year, Insurance companies have overhauled the levels of cover and premiums for such services. We are pleased to advise that we have been able to negotiate to maintain the Sheep’s Back to Store Endorsement Insurance Policy. From the 1st May 2020, the period of cover is now a maximum of 30 Days.

We believe that this amendment should not impact on the majority of our clients. However, if your on-farm storage extends past the 30 day period you should speak with your Insurance Company to ensure you have sufficient cover from fire and theft.

It is also important to have your Wool Book &/or Classer’s Specification (or a copy of) in a safe place as evidence, in the event you have to make an insurance claim.
