Most of us can appreciate the destruction that mice and rats can create and the negative health impacts. Diseases such as Leptospirosis can have lasting health effects and is a direct result of coming into contact with infected rodents’ urine.

Unfortunately a number of these fury pests are finding wool a nice place to make their nests. This has increased the health and safety risks for our staff particularly when handling and purchasing wool.

Due to the increased health risks and our commitment to keep our staff safe, we can no longer accept wool that is/was obviously infested by mice or contains remnants of them.

If your wool is deemed to be infested by the wool buyer and has no commercial value, we will ask you to take it away to be disposed of.

We appreciate your understanding and cooperation and hope to see the end of the plague in the very near future.
