LIVESTOCK AGENT

Are you passionate about the livestock industry and looking for an opportunity to further your career? We are seeking a dedicated Livestock Agent to join our team. This role offers the chance to work closely with an experienced livestock agent, providing essential services to our clients, and participating in livestock marketing, sales, and purchasing. 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist the current livestock agent in servicing clients, including marketing, selling, and purchasing livestock.
  • Handle surplus equipment sales, with four sales held annually.
  • Engage in livestock sales and purchasing activities.
  • Conduct on-farm animal selection.
  • Develop an understanding of bloodlines and genetic influences in livestock.
  • Host and manage Ram Sales, including selecting Rams.
  • Grow the business autonomously, leveraging your skills and initiative.
  • Collaborate with the Wool Technical team to service both existing and new clients.

Candidate Requirements:.

  • Industry experience in livestock management and animal health.
  • Sales experience is preferred, particularly within the agricultural sector.
  • A passion for livestock and a drive to succeed in a competitive industry.
  • Drivers licence.
